Designer Eric Way has dressed some of the world’s most famous, desirable
and glamorous women and is rated as one of London's hottest celebrity
designers.
The South African born, London - based couturier has gained huge respect
from the British Fashion Industry since relocating to London in 1997.
Daily Telegraph Fashion Editor Hilary Alexander enthusiastically
endorsed his restyling of Cherie Blair from a somewhat ‘frumpy’ dresser
into an elegant, fashion-conscious woman.
Eric Way’s clients include Geri Halliwell, Grace Adams-Short,
Danielle Lloyd,
Catalina Guirado, American actress Kristin Davis, singer
Shirley Bassey, fashion icon Ivana Trump and Nabila
Khashoggi, to name a few.
He is renowned for designing for many glamorous reality television shows
such as ‘Ladette to Lady', 'Britain’s Next Top Model' and many more.
Eric Way designed a collection of beautiful dresses that did not escape
the eagle eye of fashion stylist Patricia Field of the Sex in the
City series, and he was commissioned to design several dresses for
Kristin Davis' character, Charlotte. His sweet pink, ‘fabulous
50s’ inspired wasp-waisted dress became a trendsetter that earned the
approval of both fashion gurus and fans worldwide.
He also played a major role in designing gowns for the Miss World
pageant, and was invited by Julia Morley, Chairperson of the Miss World
Organisation, to join the esteemed panel of judges.
This multi-talented designer has created 'The Dream Team' for his
‘Eric Way's Celebrity Makeover’, that includes hairstylist Jan de
Beer, make-up artist Madeleine Botha and photographer Adele Moolman.
‘The Dream Team’ makeover gives everyday people the opportunity to look
and feel like a celebrity.
In
addition to Eric Way’s long line of successes, he has managed to
lose a whopping 75kg in 7 months - half of his body weight -and
has maintained his new, sleek look for nearly 3 years! Using his new
WaySlim range and supported by the Skinwell group, he
enthusiastically shares his discipline and weight loss success with
people with an equal desire to lose weight with regular appearances
around the country giving motivational talks.
A great competition was launched last September in conjunction with
WaySlim in which 10 winners will spend a week with Eric Way and his
personal chef in the Marion Boutique Hotel, Johannesburg at the

Eric Way recently presented his own WaySlim healthy living and eating
weekly segment on 'Expresso' the SABC 3 Breakfast Show
every Friday which started on 8 October for a period of seven months.
